Whether it's a morning of tennis or an evening of entertainment, Covenant Day's Development Office hosts a variety of events each year that give parents the opportunity to meet new friends and have fun while supporting Covenant Day.
Each spring, Covenant Day comes together as a community for 24 hours through Giving Day to increase participation in giving to the Annual Campaign. This event raises important funds that benefit all Covenant Day students.By participating in this community effort with a gift of any size, you can support Covenant Day students and help make each Giving Day greater than the last! All gifts to Covenant Day will address some of our greatest needs.
New Parent Breakfast
The New Parent Breakfast is held at the beginning of each school year and gives parents that are new to Covenant Day an opportunity to meet one another while enjoying a full breakfast. Additionally, the head of school gives an update on the upcoming school year.
Lions Cup Tennis Tournament
Our annual Lions Cup Tennis Tournament, held each October, is a great way to connect with other moms at CDS and get some exercise at the same time. All tennis levels are welcome. The round robin format matches similar playing levels. All profits will be allotted to academic and athletic enhancements at CDS.
Alumni Parent Dinner
The Alumni Parent Dinner is traditionally held in January each year. Alumni parents gather together on campus for an evening of reconnecting with friends. The evening includes dinner, fellowship, and entertainment by some of our talented students. The Head of School wraps up the evening with a school update.
Trivia Night is an annual community-building event that is held in February. It’s a great way for CDS parents to meet other parents, while enjoying dinner and some friendly competition! Our next Trivia Night will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019.
The Gala, which takes place every other year, is an evening of dining and entertainment along with live and silent auctions. As CDS’ largest fundraising event, The Gala supports a different Covenant Day initiative every other year.
