Parent Experience

At Covenant Day School, we believe community is important not only among our students, but for our parents as well. Covenant Day offers a variety of ways for parents to get involved on campus. It is easy to get plugged in through volunteer opportunities, parent events, and parent support groups!

Parent Support Groups

Parents Association

The Parents Association gives parents the opportunity to fellowship with each other through coordinating school-wide events and activities. Annual events include the Back to School Expo, MS Parent/Daughter Breakfast, MS Parent/Son Breakfast, the Holiday Market, The Fall Festival, and more! Details are posted in Covenant Day's weekly ENEWS.

Booster Club

The CDS Booster Club supports our athletics program and student-athletes through fundraising, hosting school-wide events, and fostering school spirit.

Covenant Arts Association

Covenant Arts Association provides support to fine arts teachers, mobilizing parents and students to assist in the production of fine arts events and activities.

BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES

Moms In Prayer

Join our Moms in Prayer group as we lift our school, teachers, and children in prayer! For more information, contact the main school office at 704-847-2385.

Mom's Bible Study

All Covenant Day moms are invited to join Rose Davis, wife of CDS Head of School Mark Davis, for a weekly Bible study (day and evening option). For more information, email Rose Davis.

Volunteer Opportunities

Covenant Day School is blessed to have dedicated parent volunteers who serve in many different capacities throughout the school. We welcome and depend on new parents to get involved each year. Opportunities include planning school-wide events, chaperoning field trips, helping in chapels, distributing school lunches, welcoming new parents, and many more!

Parents can also get involved in various parent-led events throughout the year including Grandparents Day, Community Heroes Lunch, Moms in Prayer Groups, and the CDS Holiday Market.

Loyalty Programs

When you scan a Publix Partners card that has been prelinked to our school before paying for your purchase at Publix, Publix will donate a portion of that sale directly to CDS. Publix Partners cards that are pre-linked to our school must be obtained through the CDS high school office.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

Twice a year, the lower school  collects boxtops by grade level and a school representative turns them in to earn money for CDS. Start clipping and saving boxtops throughout the year! Information on collection dates will be announced in the ENEWS.
