Katy Keilman I Head Coach

Hometown: Spring Hill, Kansas
Education: B.A., Virginia Wesleyan University
Playing Experience: Coach Keilman played basketball and softball at the collegiate level.
Started coaching at CDS: 2023
My favorite CDS sports memory is when we clinched our second win of the season with a game-winning buzzer-beater shot. It was electric!!
My biggest athletic accomplishment was being named in the 2003 Who’s Who Among Collegiate Athletes.
Hobbies: Diving back into the world of weight training.
Fun Fact: I’m obsessed with Halloween and everything that goes along with it! I start decorating my house in August to get ready! I’ve been skydiving.


Zach Tuner | Assistant Coach

Hometown: Charlotte, North Carolina
Education: B.S., Communications, University of Tennessee
Started coaching at CDS: 2011
Playing Experience: After a standout career at Charlotte Christian, Coach Turner played basketball at the University of Tennessee.
Favorite CDS sports memory: Beating Durham Academy at their place and at the buzzer in 2016 and playing in Christmas tournaments in Charleston.
Biggest Athletic Accomplishment: In 2000, we won the SEC regular season title on our way to the Sweet Sixteen!
Hobbies: My hobbies include playing board games and air drumming.
Fun Fact: I grew up a Duke basketball fan, so I’m not too fond of UNC. However, my AAU coach, high school coach, and both head coaches I had in college were all UNC guys.
