Varsity Girls Basketball

Our philosophy is simple: make each woman a better athlete while making each athlete a better woman. Our primary purpose is to build a program that is one of desire, respect, discipline, and longevity rather than just focusing on a specific season’s win/loss record. We aim to create a strong tradition of girls’ basketball at Covenant Day.

Intangible characteristics play an essential role in building the girls' basketball program, alongside knowledge, fundamentals of the game, and pre/off-season training. The program will highlight the following areas: the power of success, team core values, and building a winning culture.

Conference

Varsity Girls Basketball competes in the Charlotte Independent School Athletic Association (CISAA), which includes Cannon School, Charlotte Christian, Charlotte Country Day, Charlotte Latin, and Providence Day. At the state level, Varsity Girls Basketball competes in the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA). We are a Division 4A school.
