Jacob Hendrick - Head Coach | EMAIL

Coach Hendrick is originally from Jackson, MI, where he was a three-sport athlete at Jackson Christian High School before grauating and heading to Grace College. He ran cross country and track at Grace as a freshman and later joined the soccer program during his sophomore year. Hendrick holds a B.S in mathematics education and he currently teaches at the high school level at Covenant Day. He spent three years teaching and coaching boys and girls soccer at Harding University High School before joining the staff at CDS in the fall of 2017.

Game Recap 8/30/2018 vs Carmel Christian

It was a very hot day for soccer, with temperatures on the turf at the Sportsplex reaching toward 100 degrees. Both teams pushed themselves throughout the tight contest, and made it to the halftime break scoreless.

Game Recap 8/28/2018 vs Charlotte Secondary

In their first game of the season, our JV Lions outscored the opponent 7-0. The team got off to a slow start, but managed to break through to score with Aiden Rogers assisting Drew Boukidis for a beautiful shot to the top corner. In the second half, Alex Felice put one in the back of the net off a through ball from Will Raulston. Other Lions got in on the scoring action in the second half, as Preston Jordan, Ben Richardson, and Aiden Rogers all adding to the final tally. The team will face Carmel Christian on Aug. 30th at the Matthews Sportsplex.
