Education: B.A., History/Political Science, Oklahoma Wesleyan University; M.A. History, Winthrop University
Started coaching at CDS: 2003
Volleyball Experience: I played volleyball for four years in college, and I began coaching in 1993.
Favorite CDS sports memory: The state championship match against NRCA in our gym. We were down by 2, came back and tied it up. Although we lost in the 5th set, it's still a favorite memory with a very special and talented team.
Hobbies: I enjoy traveling, reading, and coaching.
Fun Fact: When I first came to Covenant Day, I was an assistant coach to Mr. Helmer, our current Head of School.
Kristen Seibert | Assistant Coach
Hometown: Charlotte, N.C.
Education: B.A. Athletic Training, Messiah University
Volleyball Experience: Coach Seibert played volleyball every year at CDS starting in 6th grade while also playing club volleyball. She also played volleyball at the collegiate level at Wofford College (2017-2019) and Messiah University (2019-2022). She got a taste of coaching at camps and clinics in middle school and hasn’t stopped coaching since. In addition to coaching at CDS, Coach Seibert is the head coach of a Carolina Union Volleyball Club 14’s team.

Favorite CDS sports memory: Having the opportunity to play in 3 state volleyball tournament finals for Covenant Day!
Hobbies: I enjoy hiking to waterfalls, running, reading, painting/art, drinking coffee with friends, and movie nights with people I love!!
Fun Fact: I passionately hate the cold, but I absolutely love snow skiing.
