Varsity Boys Soccer
Team Overview
Our boys soccer program aims to develop the next generation of high-level soccer players and Christian leaders. Our core values of being Christ-centered, a Brotherhood, Committed, and Pursuing Excellence drive the culture of this program. Through our competitive environment that is encompassed with joy, we want our players to learn how to lead, grow from mistakes, be team players, and compete in a Christ-like manner. These lessons will carry over as these young men go on to become CEOs, husbands, etc. We firmly believe in our players' complete growth and development and aim to disciple and mentor those who walk through our program.

Conference
Varsity Boys Soccer competes in the Charlotte Independent School Athletic Association (CISAA), which includes Cannon School, Charlotte Christian, Charlotte Country Day, Charlotte Latin, and Providence Day. At the state level, Varsity Boys Soccer competes in the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA). We are a Division 4A school.

Coaches
Julius Klohr I Head Coach
Coach Klohr is a CDS alum who went on to play at Houghton University, where he was a four-year starter and captain for three seasons. Upon graduating from Houghton, he served for two years as assistant coach of the college program while pursuing his MBA. During that time, Coach Klohr oversaw recruiting, planned practice sessions, and met weekly with student-athletes. He has also been heavily involved with sports ministry, serving as a coaching intern with the Charlotte Eagles and working a mission stint in Kenya through the Ambassadors Football Kenya Club.
