Middle School Track & Field Program Makes Their Mark

Middle School Track & Field Program Makes Their Mark

The CDS Middle School Track & Field team made its mark in the last conference meet of the season. The boys won the meet by 18 points, and the girls won by 43 points.

Our boys' track & field team has set a high bar. This meet marks their third consecutive winning season in the GCMSAA.

Last season, our girls had 17 athletes and finished second to last in the conference, compared to a top-place finish and 30 athletes this season—a true testament to our athletes and coaching staff's hard work and dedication.

The season isn't over yet. The team will head to Metrolina on Thursday, April 24, and States on May 3. For those who qualify, the season will culminate with the New Balance Nationals, a prestigious event for middle and high school track and field athletes. Nationals begin June 19 at the historic Franklin Field at the University of Pennsylvania.
