2024-25 Winter Sports Highlights

Winter Recap

With another season over, we reflect on the winter sports teams' dedication, perseverance, and teamwork over the last few months. From the early morning swim practices to the basketball games played on Queens University's campus, our student-athletes gave their all, embracing the challenges and successes all season long.

Varsity Boys Basketball

After another great season, Boys Basketball earned a 4th overall seed in the NCISAA State Playoffs. Capping off his senior season, Tyree White garnered 1st Team CISAA All-Conference honors, made the NCISAA All-State team, and was selected to play in the NCISAA All-Star game. Senior Chris Rivens eclipsed the 1,000-point mark this season, was named to the All-CISAA 2nd Team, and also played in the NCISAA All-Star annual game.

Varsity Girls Basketball

In her second season, Head Coach Katy Keilman built on the team's foundation from last year. Led by Junior Avery Houseton, who led the team in every statistical category, the team finished with 15 more victories than last season, including a 10-game winning streak!

Varsity Swimming

Varsity Swimming had another season filled with steady improvement and multiple personal bests. Freshman Anna Milheim led the way with numerous top 5 finishes throughout the season, including 4th place in the 200-yard medley and 5th place in the 100-yard breaststroke at the CISAA Conference Championships.
