Fine Arts at a Glance

Art is taught as a subject with a written, sequential curriculum that includes four key areas: foundations, creative expression, historical and cultural relevance, and critical evaluation and response. Lessons build cumulative knowledge and skills, helping students learn to create, analyze, interpret, and evaluate art and the ways people make and justify judgments about it.
