Lower School

Lorem Ipsum Dolor

The lower school years are a time of building core competencies in the hearts and minds of children. We take great joy in partnering with families to provide a transformational Christian education that lays a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Providing a Foundation for Learning

Lower school is an exciting introduction to the wonderful world of learning and provides a foundation for all that is to follow. Lower school students receive a comprehensive education with instruction in core subjects. Many lower school teachers are trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach to literacy. In addition, field trips and community service opportunities such as Missions Week help enrich the curriculum. Students also have the opportunity to participate in children's choir, instrument lessons, and other extracurricular classes. Watch the video to see our lower school in action!

Where We Shine

Parent-Teacher Partnership

Teachers and parents  support each child’s spiritual, academic, and emotional growth, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and faith development in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

Christ-Centered  Teaching

All subjects are taught from a biblical worldview, helping students grow in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as they explore God’s world and His truth, purpose, and presence woven throughout every area of study.

Literacy & Math Foundations

Students receive instruction in reading, writing, and math using research-based approaches like Orton-Gillingham. Hands-on math strategies develop number sense fluency and deep understanding of the concepts.

Experiential Learning

Enrichment opportunities—such as Spanish, library, music, art, CREATE Jr., field trips, band, choir, the Butterfly Garden, and Missions Week—spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and foster community engagement.
