I could go on and on about the community at CDS and the joy this job brings to me each day.

This past June, Covenant Day's Director of Guidance and College Counseling, Heather Mills, was recognized by The North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) as the K-12 Professional of the Year. Although our hearts are heavy from the loss and devastation in Western North Carolina, it is moments like these that we are reminded of the strength and unity of our community. It is an opportunity to live out Covenant Day's vision pillar of service- to embody Christ to the church and community. In this Scientific Field Research class, high school students get the opportunity to serve as active participants within scientific communities by conducting hands-on research in connection with professors and researchers at universities, colleges, and research institutions.
