REGISTRATION DEADLINE & COST

Registration is open until 12 p.m. on the Friday before camp. Registration may close earlier for select camps that require special supply orders. Early registration is strongly recommended to secure your spot at camp. 

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS

Many camps have an automatically-applied early bird discount if you register on or before February 28.  See camp pricing details to determine if your camp qualifies.

MULTI-WEEK DISCOUNTS

Camper families who register for three (3) or more weeks of eligible** camps can receive $15 off each camp. This discount can be applied to one individual camper or in combination of multiple campers from the same family. Please contact camps@covenantday.org or 704-708-6194 for your discount code. 

* Should it be determined you are not eligible for this discount you will be notified and charged the difference.

* The following camps are not eligible for this discount: College Admissions, Techsplorers Engineering Camps, CPR and Cub Field Hockey

CAMP LION DISCOUNTS

Campers attending Camp Lion, our traditional day camp for students in grades TK-5, can receive the following discounts:

MULTI CAMP LION DISCOUNT ($15 off half-day; $30 off full-day)*

Campers who register for three (3) or more weeks of Camp Lion Day Camp can receive $15 off each week of half-day registrations or $30 off each week of full-day registrations.  Please contact camps@coveantday.org or 704-708-6194 for more information. * Should it be determined you are not eligible for this discount you will be notified and charged the difference.

SIBLING DISCOUNT ($50 off half-day; $75 off full-day on all same family registrations after the first registration):

Families registering more than one child for Camp Lion Day Camp will receive $50 off half-day and $75 off full-day registrations on all additional same family registrations after the first registration. This discount will automatically be applied at registration.

WAIT LISTS

For camps that are full, you may choose to be added to a wait list in the event openings become available. 

LUNCH CARE (12 p.m. - 1 p.m.)

The Lunch Care option is for students packing a lunch to eat to bridge morning and afternoon camps or extend your camper’s day by an hour for a fee of $25/week*. Campers attending the supervised lunch hour will be escorted to/from their camps and are supervised at all times.

* Special note: Camp Lion Day Camp and Musical Theater for Middle School includes Lunch Care at no additional cost but you must indicate you are participating when you register. 

BEFORE AND AFTER CARE

Before and After Care is available for campers TK-8th grade where campers will be supervised and engaged in a variety of activities.  Campers may arrive between 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. and will be escorted to their camp at 8:45 a.m.  Additionally, campers may stay after camp from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.  Before Care is $45/week and After Care is $45/week*.

* Special note: Camp Lion Day Camp includes Before and After Care at no additional cost but you must indicate if you are participating when you register.

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

All campers should bring a labeled water bottle and a daily snack. Full-day campers will also need to pack a lunch. Camp directors and the CDS Camps Office will reach out to inform registered campers/families of any additional instructions prior to camp.

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP LOCATIONS

All camps will drop-off/pick-up on the CDS campus/Warner Park fields. The CDS Camps Office will communicate by email specific instructions for drop-off/pick-up in advance of each camp.

CANCELLATIONS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS

In the unlikely event that CDS would need to cancel a specific camp program due to insufficient enrollment, CDS will inform parents at least 14 days prior to the camp’s start date and all fees will be refunded.  Should your summer plans change, you may exchange your camp for another camp for a fee of $20.

You may also opt to cancel your camp registration and request a refund based on the below schedule:

• Cancellations on or before May 1, 2021: 100% camp cost refunded minus a $35 processing fee
• Cancellations after May 1, 2021 (and at least 14 days prior to your camp): 50% camp cost refunded
• Cancellations less than 14 days prior to your camp: Camp cost non-refundable

ADDITIONAL CAMP DETAILS

• Camps are listed for the rising grades for the 2021-22 school year.
• Camps will run Monday through Friday unless otherwise indicated.
• CDS summer camps are open to the community. (Invite your friends!)
• Camps are subject to change in the unlikely event of insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.
