CAST, Covenant Arts Support Team, is looking forward to another great fine arts year at CDS! We wish to glorify God by offering Him our best in the forms of song, instrumental music, art, and drama. CAST provides support to fine arts teachers, mobilizing parents and students to assist in the excellent production of fine arts events. If you are part of the CDS family you are already a part of CAST! We have so many gifted parents and students in the CDS community. Please consider how you can use your talents as part of the CAST volunteer base.

The high school musical production of Singin’ in the Rain will be held February 9-11. The period of November through early February will be filled with opportunities to volunteer for this production. The needs are similar to Willy Wonka Jr. with the addition of:

  • Accompanist
  • Musicians - string, reed, brass, percussion, keyboard

Our fine arts teachers have other volunteer needs throughout the school year:

  • Lower School – art, choir, music, Christmas program, 5th grade musicalVolunteer For Fine Arts Teacher Help
  • Middle School /High School – art, band and chorus Christmas concert, band sectionals
  • Special Events Teams: Pineville Fall Festival Art Competition (October 14 & 15), Celebration of the Arts (April 27), band trip
