Fan Fest 2014!! - Friday, April 25, 5-6:45 p.m.
We are closing down Warner Park for one big tailgate party to accompany CDS Lions baseball, soccer and softball games. You are invited! Decorate your car! Wear your CDS colors! Prizes for most spirited. If you want to park in Warner for the tailgate you must sign up on our SignUp Genius page — only a few spots left!! Space is limited. Everyone is invited to join in the fun (tailgating not required - but you will have to shuttle over). Boosters will be selling BBQ. There will be a meeting spot with dessert for all senior parents.
The community is invited to view the 1st grade to high school art exhibit displayed in the North and Main Lobbies of the Christ Covenant Worship Center. The exhibit will be open April 24-25 & 28 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Parent volunteers (LS, MS, and HS) are needed. Please click here to go to SignUp Genius to volunteer.
CDS Annual Golf Classic
The Golf Classic is a tournament held to support the booster club and athletic department. The event is on Monday, May 5 at Pine Lake Country Club. For more info and to reserve your spot today, visit covenantday.org/golf.
Geek Squad Offers Tutoring for LS & MS
CDS Juniors and Seniors on the "Geek Squad" are now available to tutor LS and MS students in all subjects. LS tutoring sessions are on Mondays from 7:30-8:05 and MS sessions are on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:10. All sessions are in the Fireplace Room of the middle school building. A reservation is required twenty-four hours before the session. To reserve a session or for more information, please e-mail Matthew McKnight.
Parent Support Group
On Friday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m., please join us as we welcome Dr. Chris McCarthy, who will discuss the topic of "Stress and Anxiety in our Children." The program will be held in the Fireplace Room (C building). Please spread the word and bring your friends.
Moms Managing Media
This group meets the second and fourth Wednesday from 1:30-2:30 p.m., Room 211 at Christ Covenant Church. For the month of April (next meeting April 23), we will cover the book Play by Stuart Brown. ArtFest 2014 Artist Reception
For the opening of the ArtFest exhibit, all Covenant Day artists, families and friends are invited to the reception to view the exhibit. The reception will be held on Thursday, April 24 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Christ Covenant Worship Center lobby. The Award Recognition Ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.
The Music Department will have a Celebration of the Arts Spring Concert on Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m. in the Worship Center. Admission is free. If you would like to volunteer to assist with the Spring Concert, click this link to sign up.
Course Selection for Rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors
2014-2015 Course Selection information packets were distributed to returning CDS rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors on Tuesday, March 18. Rising 10th-12th grade students were required to return their course selection form to the High School Guidance Office by Thursday, April 10. Parents of Rising Freshmen
2014-2015 Course Selection information packets for rising freshmen were due on Wednesday, March 26. If you have completed and turned in your course selection form to Mrs. Norris, feel free to schedule an appointment with the guidance office via the SignUp Genius established for rising freshmen meetings (CLICK HERE to schedule appointment).
Middle School Father-Daughter Breakfast - May 1
The new date for the Father/Daughter breakfast is Thursday, May 1, 7:30-8:10 a.m. in the Fireplace Room. Dads are invited to a morning of learning, listening, and loving with your middle school daughters. A light snack will be served with coffee, which will lead into some wonderful bonding time with your little girl! To register, please CLICK HERE. TK Admissions Drop In - May 1

Box Top Contest!
Thank you for submitting boxtops for money for CDS! After 4 weeks of collecting, our 3rd grade is in the lead with 3,934 points; 2nd grade is in second place with 3,508; and 1st grade is in 3rd place with 2,997. Labels for Education
In addition to box tops, please clip and save "Labels for Education"! Cut them out and send them in a separate bag from the boxtops to help raise funds for CDS. More info on Labels for Education: www.labelsforeducation.com.
Middle school and high school students can also submit boxtops and Labels for Education in the MS and HS offices until April 23.

The Readers are Leaders Program will come to an end for this school year on Friday, April 25. All response sheets need to be done by this date. If you have read books from the Lamb, Lion or Lighthouse List, be sure to check in at the library to confirm your response sheets have been done. You have done a great job of reading this year!
