Admissions Steps

Submit an Application

Submit an online application with a non-refundable application fee ($100 for TK/K and $150 for grades 1-12).

Complete Admissions Screening

The Admissions Office will arrange and pay for individual admissions testing for TK-12. Testing typically begins in December preceding enrollment in August. The Admissions Office and/or our testing agency, ABC Educational Services, will contact each family to arrange for testing and to confirm test dates.

Send us your Transcripts & Recommendations

At the end of your online application, you will be directed to download and print a transcript release form (grades 1-12), teacher recommendation forms (grades TK-12), and a pastor recommendation form (grades TK-12). Please give these forms to the appropriate individuals and ask them to complete and submit directly to the Admissions Office. Our mailing address and fax number are printed on these forms. In order to be considered in the first round of admission decisions, these forms must be submitted by February 1 for TK/K and March 1 for grades 1-12.

Family Interview

Covenant Day School will call your family to schedule an interview with the Director of Admissions. For prospective students in grades 6-12, the student will also be included in the interview. An essential component for admission is the requirement that one or both parents be professing Christians as evidenced by their confession of faith in Jesus Christ alone as Savior. As such, the interview will be conducted to verify a Christian testimony from one or both parents and ascertain agreement with the school’s statement of faith.

Admissions Decision

Admissions decisions are mailed on February 24, 2017 for TK/K and first round decision letters for grades 1-12 are mailed on March 31, 2017.
