COURSE SELECTIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR ALL RISING COVENANT DAY SCHOOL FRESHMEN!
We are requesting that all current Covenant Day School eighth graders, who are rising Covenant Day School Freshmen, please review the “rising 9th CDS Course Selections FINAL 12-13” document. Click here. The letter, course selection form, and elective sheet along with a brochure about foreign languages have all been sent home with each eighth grader. Please read the letter, review all of the course selections, including the elective options, complete the course selection form and return it to Mrs. Norris in the middle school office by Monday, March 26th. The course descriptions are also a part of this document. Parents and students should review these together before seeking teacher recommendations from current eighth grade teachers.

It is time for students to register and pay for Advanced Placement Exams. Students who are enrolled in AP courses are required sit for the respective AP Exam. All sophomores, juniors and seniors enrolled in AP courses, must read the letter to students taking AP exams and their parents 2011-2012; note that the mandatory pre-administration session is May 2nd at 9:45 in the high school gym. For your convenience, click here for the a calendar of all AP Exams; the highlighted exams are exams that Covenant Day School will be administering on campus. AP Exams are proctored on campus at Covenant Day, May 7th-18th.

In early January the Bulletins for AP Students and Parents for 2011-2012 published by the CollegeBoard are distributed to all AP students at CDS. www.collegeboard.com/apcentral is the site for all AP information. You can find an electronic copy of the bulletin there as well.

College & University Admissions Counselor Visits to Covenant Day
Visits will be posted on the online test calendar for all high school students’ convenience as well as on the calendar located on the guidance board on the first floor. Stop by and check out who is coming to CDS and when! Students need to plan to attend these sessions by getting a pass from the office and letting Miss Mills know of their interest in advance.
